Even when I’m trying to draw simpler, I can’t always help myself. The detailed shading is just too much fun, and some drawings just need it 😊✍️

Bringing back an old style from my Mission for these sketches from the recent (weeks ago, lol) YSA devotional with Elder Holland 😅 I still enjoy crosshatching a lot, so I might use this again in the future 😊
